As part of its overall recruitment programme BELFOR UK launches its new Junior Technician Trainee Programme in the UK. The programme is open to candidates over 18 years old and aimed at those new to the industry and looking to launch a career with a truly global company.
Similar to a traditional apprentice scheme and run over a 2 year period the programme will be practically based and will cover all aspects of being a Restoration Technician with full Technical Training provided in the areas of domestic and commercial restoration.
The programme will also provide training and qualifications in the areas of Health & Safety, First Aid and also more specialist areas such as working at height and working with specialist access equipment (e.g. IPAF & PASMA).
Working with a mentor trainees will gain valuable practical experience whilst also studying for the industry recognised BDMA Level 1 Technician qualification. By the end of the programme the trainees will be a fully fledged BELFOR Field Technician.
Overseen by the UK Technical Support Team the programme will also provide opportunities to work abroad supporting BELFOR globally on international losses as well as opportunities to train at the BELFOR European Training Headquarters and Research & Development Centre in Neufahrn near Munich, Germany.
