Due to the high dependency placed on power generation and distribution equipment, it is built to last at least 30 years, and is often refurbished to extend its life span by another 20 years or more. We are proud that equipment we recovered more than 30 years ago is still operating within its original specifications today.
We have recovered Hydroelectric, Geothermal, Combined Cycle, Hybrid Hydro / Solar, Thermal and Nuclear power generation equipment from around the world. We have also dealt with flooded hydroelectric power stations and fires in thermal power stations in Asia. In addition, our experience extends to medium and high voltage substations (including power transformers) and diesel engine-powered generator sets.
Following a fire or flooding incident in an industrial plant, the rapid recovery of the main electrical transformer and switchgear is critical to supporting recovery efforts and minimising business interruption. We are experienced in recovering power distribution equipment for temporary use (within hours), or for permanent use (within days), providing no thermal damage has occurred to the equipment.
On several occasions, we were entrusted by original equipment manufacturers to recover generation or distribution equipment during the construction phase. We have since established working relationships with several major equipment manufacturers.
