A fire broke out at a large chemical research institute A, burning down the second floor and contaminating equipment on the first floor with soot. The damage was estimated at 8 billion won, and a one-year period was required to order new equipment. BELFOR Korea was able to resume its business by restoring 170 precision machines in six months at a cost of about 600 million won.
