Jacksonville Gives Back: Global Day Of Service For Children's Home Society Of Florida

BELFOR Jacksonville donated time and materials to The Children’s Home Society of Florida during Crawford & Company's 7th Annual Global Day of Service. The Children's Home Society of Florida serves abused and neglected children through foster home placement, adoptions, family life education for at-risk families, and many other services. More than 80 Contractor Connection employees and family members worked to beautify the grounds of the Children's Home Society of Florida, while the BELFOR team helped build air conditioner enclosures and a covered sandbox for children on campus.

BELFOR Helps Florida Keys College Recover From Hurricane Irma

BELFOR Florida managed the remediation and reconstruction of Florida Keys Community College in Key West after extensive damage caused by Hurricane Irma. In a thank you letter, a college representative wrote:

"College employees were allowed back on campus on September 15th and BELFOR arrived the next day and immediately mobilized. BELFOR crews quickly and efficiently mitigated damaged buildings from further damage and began the cleanup. Their quick work allowed the campus to reopen on October 2nd."

"The College was so impressed with the emergency repairs and process, BELFOR was retained to complete the restoration of the campus. Ninety percent of the buildings on campus had sustained significant damage. The ability to hire BELFOR to complete this work was vitally important in allowing the College to recover quickly."
