BELFOR Supervises Disaster Site
BELFOR Virginia Beach provided emergency assistance after a helicopter accident caused a devastating fire at a condominium in Williamsburg. The fire left the structure unsafe and unsalvageable. The building had to be fenced and secured.
According to The Virginia Gazette:
"Virginia State Police officers who had provided around‐the‐clock security have also been relieved, and the crash site is now being supervised by BELFOR Property Restoration, a private disaster recovery and property restoration company. The company has security guards posted at the scene, and has put up fencing around the burned‐out structure. Residents living in the less‐damaged units are being allowed in to recover valuables with BELFOR escorts."
BELFOR Virginia Beach Finishes Monumental Church Project
BELFOR Virginia Beach performed high in the sky when they removed scaffolding from a 160-foot church spire that had been restored after fire destroyed the original steeple. Established in 1772 and one of the oldest churches in Virginia, the historic steeple on the Monumental United Methodist Church in Portsmouth was engulfed in flames in January.
